Personal Projects
These projects are shorter and more simple than my competition projects. I make them to either learn a new technique, design something that's been rattling around in my head, or just to have fun.
Appletun: Apple Farmer
1890's Inspired Cycling Suit
Appletun is a pokemon and this cosplay is an original human design, inspired by a fairytale-esque apple farmer. The green of the sleeves and overalls were hand-dyed and there small details such as 2 different apple buttons and apple decorative stitching to tie into the theme.
I was inspired by the 1890's cycling suits for their comfort andunique silhouette. This costume features leg of mutton sleeves very deep inseam pockets, and a hand beaded/embroidered bee on the lapel.

Witchy Hat
18th Century Inspired Shirt & Waistcoat
The hat is completley hand-sewn and uses buckram, felt, and millenery wire.
This shirt and waistcoat set was made as a gift and was designed to elicit a spring/ summer mood. I used an 18th century fashion book for the patterns and construction tecniques.

Machine Embroidered Logo
This was made as a gift and was an experiment into making and digitizing my own machine embroidery patterns.
